UCF Fans Put Up Billboard Challenging Alabama To Play Them

12 January 2018

UCF athletic director Danny White and Gov. Rick Scott have proclaimed the Knights as national champions.

A group of fans is trying to convince Alabama to schedule a home-and-home with UCF, and they're doing so with a billboard in Tuscaloosa.

The University of Central Florida has beaten Auburn.

"With an undefeated record and a win over a top-10 team in the Peach Bowl, we were left no other choice but to name them national champs", Richard Ingram, President of Womack Publishing Company, said at the time.

The electronic billboard spot features an image from the Knights' Peach Bowl win over Auburn and text that reads "Congratulations Alabama!"

OJ Simpson reveals he is not Khloé Kardashian's father despite consistent rumours
Reality star Khloe Kardashian has always been surrounded by speculation that Robert Kardashian wasn't her real dad. In 2017, reports spread suggesting that famed attorney Robert Kardashian isn't Khloe's real father.

"Florida is home to the country's best college football, and this season, UCF proved to the world that they can beat any team".

The college football season ended on Monday night, with Alabama claiming their fifth national championship in the last decade.

The Tide are legit champions, but their resume isn't that different than UCF's. In addition to the highest season-ending ranking, it was the highest ranking UCF has ever achieved in the AP Top 25.

If UCF and Alabama played this year, the Tide would've been favorites, as they are against every team they play.

It's likely UCF's plight influenced many voters to take a closer look at the Knights' accomplishments, which had been largely disregarded by the College Football Playoff Committee during the regular season. A future meeting of the teams would do nothing to change the outcome of 2017, but it'd still be fun, and fun things are good.
