Overwatch Winter Wonderland 2017 details announced

09 December 2017

Three maps will be getting a winter makeover, King's Row and Hanamura are returning from a year ago, and the arcade map Black Forest will be getting decorated as well.

This means that is you didn't pick up the skins that were available for the Winter Wonderland event in 2016, you'll have a second chance at grabbing them come December 12. As with previous timed events it is expected that there will be special Winter Loot Boxes during the event, which will contain at least one item from the Winter Wonderland collection when opened.

Various maps will also have a winter makeover including King's Row and Hanamura as well as an update for Black Forest. It is a boss fight between a team consisting of five Mei (s) against a single Yeti a.k.a. These limited time decorated maps are always just attractive and Kaplan described this as "one of the most gorgeous jobs [Blizzard's] environmental artists have ever done." so we are in for something special this year. And indeed it will be returning from next week, offering new Legendary skins for the likes of Mei, Hanzo, Junkrat and a host of others. What's new here is it's expanding to the Black Forest map too, and a change in scenery is always a nice addition to have. There will also be an event called Mei's Yeti Hunt, where six Mei characters will get to fight and try to defeat one yeti, which will basically be played by Winston, all of whom will be controlled by actual players.

That could lead people to use other free apps, like Venmo and Square Cash to send money to those who have Android devices. Saying something like " Send x dollars to Zac using Apple Pay cash " is a super fast and satisfying way to pay others.

The holiday season is truly in the air as the Winter Wonderland Event of video game "Overwatch" is set to return next week. Winston will be running around the map eating pieces of meat which fuel his Primal Rage. "But the point of some of these seasonal brawls are just to be fun and light and refreshing for a period of time", the director added.
