Scott Frost to leave UCF for Nebraska's head coaching job, ESPN reports

Frost replaces former head coach Mike Riley. And then UCF hit the afterburners for the current campaign - Frost's crew rolled to an 12-0 record, capped off with Saturday's wild shootout win over Memphis in the AAC Championship Game.

A University of Nebraska spokesperson has announced Scott Frost will take over head coaching duties for the Cornhusker football team.

"I am thrilled that [Frost] is returning to his alma mater to lead the Husker football program", Moos said.

Despite owning just two seasons of head coaching experience, Frost, 42, emerged as college football's hottest name after a remarkable turnaround at UCF.
