29 Ноября 2017

According to BuzzFeed, over 180 women have reported sexual assaults at different locations across the country.

Numerous accusers have now sued the chain, and subsequent court records reportedly show that multiple women had complained to Massage Envy about Deiter's actions prior to Ingram's report.

Almost 200 woman claim they've been sexually assaulted, several of them in Central Oregon.

The initial massage took pace in August of 2009 and the documents state the woman reported the incident to Massage Envy in a letter in September of 2009.

Prior to Ingram's civil lawsuit, Massage Envy never had to respond to a customer in court concerning allegations of sexual assault.

In a statement to ABC News, Massage Envy said that each incident was "heartbreaking" for them.

Upon their seventh meeting, Ingram had felt relaxed enough with Deiter that she could close her eyes and let all her stressors be worked out, although it was here that Deiter proceeded to aggressively grope her breasts, rub his erect phallus against her body, and stick his fingers into her privates.

The Chester County DA's office says Deiter was linked to nine victims, but a BuzzFeed report says it's actually a disturbing trend with other suspects harming almost 200 alleged Massage Envy victims from coast to coast. Dieter later pleaded guilty in 2016 to sexually molesting nine women while working at Massage Envy between fall 2014 and spring 2015, reported WFMJ.

Dainah Craft and her husband have been in the massage business for about 15 years.

After five years, Kandice Martellaro says she can't shake the anger over what happened to her at Massage Envy and how it was handled. Still, it said even one incident is too many, reports CBS News' Meg Oliver. The franchisee must also conduct a prompt, fair, and thorough investigation of the allegation, with the assistance of outside experts if needed. "You don't want cop cars showing up at your location the next day", she told BuzzFeed. And they wouldn't call police because the matter would be handled internally. "It's why we are constantly listening, learning and looking at how we can do more", the company said.
