He said PASS had not demanded any ticket from the Congress but tickets were given to two PASS leaders by the Congress without consulting him.

Patidar quota stir leader Hardik Patel yesterday declared his support to the Congress for the Gujarat Assembly elections, saying the opposition party has accepted the demand of giving reservation to his community in a "special category". "We will launch a state-wide agitation against the Congress", Dinesh Bhambhani, a member of the core committee of the PAAS had said.

According to the sources, Hardik suspects the role of some of his close friends behind the recent "sex video" episode. "An impression is being created that PAAS is fighting for tickets from Congress". He accused the Congress Party of bargaining with Hardik Patel and trying to divide the Patidar community.

The move shall help set new caste equations for the Congress which is making an all-out bid to seize power from the BJP.

"Congress announced the names without our permission". Before that our MLAs were offered money to switch sides during Rajya Sabha polls.

"Seventy per cent of the PAAS conveners today now want power and money".

Hardik Patel on Wednesday addressed a much-awaited press conference and expressed his "direct or indirect" support for the Congress in the upcoming Gujarat elections.

President". 'They were headed for 10 years in jail!,' he added . "Everybody wants to make it seem like he helped me out". If I was going to thank somebody I'd probably thank President Xi (Jinping)", LaVar Ball said.

The Gujarat BJP, meanwhile, has completely ruled out the judicial tenability of Congress' quota formula.

But Finance Minister and BJP leader Arun Jaitley mocked the agreement calling it an exercise at "deception of each other".

Two days later, a deal was reached and Hardik was to make an announcement on 20 November.

Late on Monday night, the Gujarat Congress, in an attempt to placate the furious Patidar leaders, released a second list of 13 candidates. Both of these leaders were negotiating directly with the Congress.

Hardik Patel also clearly point out that he ahad no enmity with the ruling party and he do not bother about the welfare of 6 crore people of Gujarat. Thakor has joined Congress recently. It also said Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who "never misses an opportunity to speak on mundane issues, must speak now".

A further delay in announcing his support to the Congress could have resulted in a few others leaving him since parties such as the BJP and NCP are more than willing to accommodate them.

Three out of these four are PAAS nominees, who Hardik and his supporters have backed vociferously.
