HTC 10, U11, and U Ultra will get Android 8.0 Oreo Update

The phones from other OEMs which run stock Android, are the ones who get the newer version updates faster than the ones which don't.

We have already talked so much about the earlier expected Android version name as Android O in our previous articles but now we will be taking you all through the changes that have been introduced with the so called Android Oreo. Nokia 3, Nokia 5, Nokia 6, and the recently announced flagship Nokia 8, all the Nokia phones will get Android Oreo.

These Android Oreo bugs have been spotted during the developer previews and were reported on the Issue Tracker.

Android 8.0 Oreo is finally live after months of work bringing with it tons of new features including picture-in-picture, autofill, integrated Instant Apps, Google Play Protect, a faster boot up and a few more. Apart from these, nearly all the recent phones from the top brands will be receiving the Android Oreo update. The sweetly named Android Oreo is this year's major update to the Android operating system and diehard Android fans like many of you are asking when they can expect some Oreo goodness on their device.

We've been working closely with our partners over the last many months, and by the end of this year, hardware makers like Essential, Huawei, HTC, Kyocera, LG, Motorola, HMD Global Home of Nokia Phones, Samsung, Sharp and Sony are scheduled to be launching or upgrading new devices to Android 8.0 Oreo. Unfortunately, we'll have to wait a bit longer see Oreo on a BlackBerry KEYone but the folks over at Android Central have produced a pretty awesome video showing off the important bits.

Specifically, owners of the HTC 10, U11, and U Ultra will receive the update, but there's no word yet on when these updates will come. OnePlus 3 and 3T will also be updated to Android Oreo but only after the OnePlus 5 has received the update. Samsung Galaxy S8 will get Android 8 update, Samsung Galaxy S8+ and S7 will also get Android 8 update.

Redmi Note 4 got the Nougat update, when Oreo was getting launched (a year later). The company turned the beloved cookie into a superhero based on the familiar Android robot logo. The latest Android OS is about 2 days old and barely a few devices have received the update so far.
