Page Three shoot for 'naive' kidnap model

"He told her he wanted to release her somehow and some time".

The woman had initially gone to Milan for a July 10 photo shoot that was scheduled for the next day, but when she entered the apartment for the "photo shoot", she was attacked by two men, police said.

The Italian police did say in a statement that a British model was kidnapped on July 11.

Then, on July 17, Ayling was dropped off at the British consulate in Milan.

Ayling arrived home on Sunday where she expressed her gratitude to authorities for securing her safe release.

Ayling says she was drugged and held hostage for nearly a week, after she went to Italy for a photo shoot.

Ms Ayling has said: "I've been through a terrifying experience". I realized I was in the boot of a vehicle, with my wrists and ankles tied and my mouth taped.

Italian police arrested 30-year- old Polish national Lukasz Pawel Herba, who lives part-time in England, and charged him with kidnapping, said Mr Lorenzo Bucossi, head of the Milan Police Mobile Command unit.

Ayling said they released her because abducting mothers goes against the rules of the gang called "Black Death".

According to a translation on Sky News, Mr Bucossi said: "Certainly the author of this very serious crime is a risky person, don't forget he was also ready to carry out a "final solution", as he called it".

Stocks Close Modestly Lower After Trump Warns North Korea
A majority of the major sectors have moved lower on the day, although most are showing relatively modest moves to the downside. Declining issues outnumbered advancing ones on the NYSE by a 1.14-to-1 ratio; on Nasdaq , a 1.11-to-1 ratio favored advancers.

Italian police said yesterday they still believed Ms Ayling and were continuing to investigate.

Keyes - who is also the dad of Chloe's 21-month-old son - appeared surprised that the model posed in hot trousers outside her mum's London home on her return to the UK. "I feared for my life second by second, minute by minute, hour by hour".

Herba has claimed that after being diagnosed with Leukaemia, he was desperate for money, so got involved with a group of Romanians. He said the Romanians gave him $649,000 to rent properties around Europe.

The contents were released by police in Italy: "Girls can be transported globally, we have contractors for that, for a price".

When Eamonn asked her if she doubts Chloe's story in any way, Carla said: "That's so hard, I've only spoken to Chloe briefly".

Herba also claimed he did not participate in Ayling's kidnapping, but instead came to her rescue when he saw her pictures for the online auction. While he had the British model under his custody, Herba told Natalia he had a hectic schedule and could not talk to her much because he sleeps during his free time.

Herba told Ayling that higher-ups in Black Death were upset she had been abducted because she is the mother of a small child, according to court documents.

According to The Sun the email the image was sent with read: 'Did you know chloe ayling has been kidnapped in italy and is now for sale by Russian mafia??? see attachment'. A spokesperson said: "A member of an independent production company known to make films for the Dispatches strand was speculatively contacted, along with other news organisations, about this story by an anonymous source".

The lawyer Ayling has while the case is under investigation - standard procedure in Italy - acknowledged Monday that aspects of the case seem freakish.
