Spotify lands on Xbox One, bringing new music to countless games

09 August 2017

After a long wait, Windows users on both PC, tablets, and now the Xbox One console can use the popular Spotify music service on their devices.

Microsoft is playing catch up in regards to Spotify as the app has been available on PlayStation since 2015 as a console exclusive.

The previous dashboard update put most of the useful content in the sidebar, however navigating the main dashboard was still a total pain in the ass, especially as you were limited as to what you could and couldn't display there.

Announced on Xbox Wire today, Microsoft finally revealed Spotify for Xbox in full, following more than a few leaks, teases, and rumors.

"Music continues to be essential when creating the ultimate gaming experience".

The Military Can Now Shoot Down Drones Getting Too Close To Installations
If you own a commercial or privately-owned drone, you now fly over any military base at the risk of losing your aircraft. But the land is only leased from commercial and private farmers who use the rest of the area for crops or livestock.

The blocks that are added to the Xbox One home screen will also evolve over time. New features include the ability to customize the Home screen, speedier guide navigation, and easier ways to stay connected with Friends and Clubs.

Go to the Xbox Store on your Xbox One. A new activity feed layout has also been added to the community section, which will offer more content to view.

The update also makes changes to the Windows 10 by placing a switch on the Game Bar to toggle Game Mode. Mixer broadcasting with the Game bar will now give you more choices on the audio you broadcast; a new settings option will let you choose to broadcast game-only audio, or system-wide audio.

"This is just the beginning of some major updates arriving for Xbox gamers later this year".

These changes are not the only things that Xbox One gamers can look forward to though, as more new features are in the pipeline as the launch of the Xbox One X draws nearer.
