Cosby accuser to resume testimony in sex assault trial

Pulliam, who played Rudy Huxtable in the iconic series The Cosby Show from 1984 to 1992, entered the Montgomery County Courthouse arm in arm with the 78-year-old comedian on Monday.

Cosby had earlier arrived at the courthouse in Norristown, Philadelphia, for the third day of his trial accompanied by actress Sheila Frazier, who starred with him in the 1978 comedy California Suite.

The woman at the centre of Bill Cosby's criminal sex assault trial was left "humiliated" and "confused" after his alleged 2004 attack, a court has heard.

Andrea Constand, the woman at the center of the only criminal trial brought against Bill Cosby, has publicly testified for the first time that Cosby drugged and sexually assaulted her in 2004. "I remember wanting to pull up my dress and wanting to cover myself, but not being able to", Johnson said.

Cosby's attorney questioned her motives and said she had given conflicting statements to authorities, including describing the incident as having occurred after a Chinese dinner with him.

The 79-year-old Cosby could spend the rest of his life in prison if convicted.

Andrea Constand, the chief accuser in the sexual assault trial against Bill Cosby, took the witness stand in a Pennsylvanian courtroom on Tuesday, June 6.

He's maintained that his sexual contact with Constand was consensual. In 2016, after an avalanche of sexual assault allegations and details from depositions during Constand's civil suit against Cosby (he settled with her) were released, Montgomery County prosecutors reopened their case against Cosby and arrested him for indecent assault.

She told the jury she started feeling woozy after about 20 minutes, with blurred vision, slurred words and legs that felt like rubber.

Despite Cosby's actions, Constand said she did not feel threatened. She said after taking the pills, "I told Mr. Cosby that I had trouble seeing him".

Diplomatic relations will remain in tact and commercial air and sea links will be exempted from the new restrictions. Still, Cuba said it is willing to continue "respectful dialogue" with him on topics of mutual interest.

Cosby, sitting across the room at the defense table, leaned in to listen, whispered to his lawyer and, at times, shook his head. Constand claims that Cosby became her mentor and invited her into his home on multiple occasions.

Cosby appeared indifferent throughout much of Constand's testimony. "Of course she was calling him back". But in the end, it will come down, I believe, to one thing: Does the jury believe Constand is telling the truth?

"I wanted it to stop" she said, but was unable to fight. "I wanted guidance and I wanted to protect myself because I felt that if I went to the police that Mr. Cosby would retaliate and try to hurt me".

"She could go to school", he said. "In my head, I was trying to get my hands to move, or my legs to move". Ms Constand says the calls concerned the basketball team.

But when she did an in-person interview with Cheltenham detectives three days later, she told them it happened "between mid January and mid February 2004" at Cosby's home, and the pair had not gone out to dinner with others beforehand, Constand confirmed on the stand. "And those messages didn't get there".

Lawyer Joseph Miller testified at Cosby's trial on in suburban Philadelphia Tuesday that his notes show Kelly Johnson told him the encounter happened in May 1990.

Under cross-examination by Cosby's co-counsel Angela Agrusa, Constand was being painted as a gold digger after Cosby's fortunes, a profiteer framing Cosby as fiend not friend. Cosby has denied all the charges and is not expected to take the stand.

"She called me at work", the mother testified.

She said she took two sips of the tea, nibbled the top of the muffin and left.
