Gas prices in Massachusetts down 5 cents per gallon

That's only a penny lower than at this point a year ago, but it's the lowest point gas prices have reached in June since 2005.

Gasoline prices in Kentucky fell 6 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $2.13/g yesterday.

$2.75/g in 2016, $3.35/g in 2015, $4.36/g in 2014, $4.33/g in 2013 and $4.40/g in 2012. That's significantly lower than the average of $2.23 last week and $2.52 a year ago. As the summer vacation season heats up, Roseville and Rocklin area residents are seeing low prices push back toward the $2.60 per gallon level for regular unleaded. "Lower demand thus far in June, plus high oil production rates in the USA, could lead to gas prices across the nation continuing to fall through the end of the month".
